The time is now to advocate for the film industry in New Hampshire.

Filming in NH would bring new energy and economic benefits to the state, support a growing workforce, and highlight the many natural and cultural assets our state has to offer. Most importantly, the impact on our local economies and small businesses would be monumental.

As of mid-2024, NH is one of just five states in the country with no film incentive and will soon be the only state in New England with no benefit to filming in the state. We are being left behind in bringing this lucrative, growing industry to our region.

But we have a plan, which is where you come in: we cannot successfully advocate for the industry without support from the collective community. That means businesses, filmmakers, legislators, community partners, and other creatives have the opportunity to come together and advocate for this industry. It’s crucial that we organize and coordinate our efforts in preparation for the upcoming 2025 legislative session.
