Shoot 11 actors in front of 11 unique interior and exterior locations in 2 days, with precise camera framing to facilitate a split screen of half of two actors’ faces speaking lines in sync. With a modest budget and compressed schedule. Easy, right!?

Scouting, permitting and dressing 11 locations would be cost and time prohibitive. So, Studio Lab and PS260 sourced a combination of stock photography and stock video for the exterior and interior locations, introduced practical foreground props for added realism, and matched the light quality of the stock photo and video plates with DMX-controlled LED instruments. Plus, we used our KIRA motion control robot for precision framing of the actors faces to facilitate the desired split screen effect.

PS260 and Studio Lab collaborated seamlessly to plan and execute two very efficient shoot days in the LED Volume. 5 locations on day one and 6 on day two. The resultant spot looks amazing, with incredibly realistic locations and engaging performances from the actors. Happy production company. Happy client. Impactful and engaging television spot!
