

The Challenge
To shoot a compelling ad spot for a seasonal product release utilizing narrative elements and incorporating existing product imagery.
The Plan
To build on the product’s visual design and create a physical environment reminiscent of the setting on the label. Use practical foreground elements to set the scene and a virtual background along with haze and dramatic lighting to set the mood. All these elements support a brief and somewhat surreal narrative which ultimately highlights the product.
The Results
A single day for build and pre-light and a single shoot day allowed the team plenty of time to be creative. The real foreground and virtual background sell the scene while still maintaining all the benefits of a controlled studio.
