The Challenge
The Dropkick Murphys band and production team were doing tour prep and rehearsals in Studio A when the COVID 19 pandemic shut everything down. With their tour cancelled, they asked us if we could livestream their St. Patrick’s Day concert in our studio. The catch? It was in less than two days. And we had never done an in-studio production of this size and scale under such a short timeline.
The Plan
With a crew of nearly 40 people who were eager and excited for a challenge like this, we setup our video wall, stage, jib crane, audio, video, lighting, and live switching in Studio A.
The Results
A rockin’ concert that, at the time, was the most viewed livestream concert in history, with 40+ Million views across multiple platforms.
